Skullgirls is a 2D fighting game developed by Reverge Labs for the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. It is unique in that it has the most hand drawn animations per character than any other fighting game. An important fact about this game is that its composer, Michiru Yamane, was also the composer for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
The FreQuency and Amplitude community are thankful for their support in the Amplitude Kickstarter and look forward to the playing the music of Skullgirls.
Unfinished Business is an exciting new song that will be featured in the new Amplitude. To date, this type of music is rare in the FreQuency and Amplitude series. The jazzy nature of this song will add variety to the lineup of the other music in Amplitude similar to the way Uptown Saturday Night did for the original Amplitude. The opening baritone saxophone sets up nicely for the intense upbeat funky section that follows it. Harmonix has a great ability to introduce new artists to us in unique ways and the fans are very receptive to this fact. Skullgirls is no different! We are eager to play this lively piece of music and look forward to learning more about Skullgirls in the process!
